CERTIFICATION AND TITLE OF THE PROGRAMME

The certificate to be awarded and the program title shall read: "NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER SCIENCE".

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:

The National Diploma program in Computer Science is aimed at producing graduates capable of designing, implementing, and managing computer systems under supervision.

On the completion of this program, the diplomatic should be able to :

  • 1. Acquire strong programming and software development skills.
  • 2. Understand computer hardware and networking principles.
  • 3. Develop problem-solving skills in computing.

PROSPECTS

Graduates of this program are well-positioned to work in IT departments, software development companies, and technical support roles. They can also pursue further education to specialize in advanced computer science fields.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants with four credit ordinary level passes with English and Mathematics in WAEC, SSCE or GCE and NECO and have attempted UTME JAMB are eligible for admission.
